“Taking time to fix what is broken”

Happy Hikkups believe that Art Therapy is all about tapping into the ‘consciousness’ of your conscious mind. Art Therapy is facilitated by Art Therapists, to help foster self-expression, create coping skills to strengthen a sense of self. We consider Art Therapy as the psychological use of the art media, and its creative process.

Art Therapy is the infusion of meaning, colours, and joy in our life.  It is a distinctive therapy that incorporates exclusive methods of expressing emotions through different forms of art.

The fusion of Art and Therapy can be used as a ‘Tool of Happiness’, it helps a human mind to know the unknown. Art Therapy helps to express the inexpressible emotions and to convey what has been unheard of. Hence, when words do not tell the truth, ART THERAPY does!

“ART IS A VOICE-WHEN WORDS ARE HARD TO COMMUNICATE, IT IS A TRUE CONFESSION WITHOUT USING WORDS”

Art therapy is the process where ‘psychology meets art’. It is the Art of Healing as we call it. It is a creative process facilitated by an art therapist and is subjective depending on how one perceives it. It can be used as a medium to describe the pain and heal. Every time you create art, you take a picture in time. Art as therapy is used as a complementary treatment in many countries all over the world. It is scientifically proven, that it can be used to build new connections in the brain to protect it from functional decline and even help the immune system to work better.

You would not deny that multitasking can actually help when in pain, right?

It is a form of visual confession therefore, it heals you physically, mentally, and emotionally, helping you to Rebuild the capacity to feel and enhance skills like problem solving, critical thinking or even navigate curiosity.

Art Therapy is a non-judgemental process of creating artwork. It is a safe expression of drawing recklessly, therefore making communication easy through symbolism, as words are so hard to communicate in today's world. We are here to provide you with the most comfortable and enjoyable journey. This does not require any artistic skill and can be practiced by anyone and any age group. Our platform maintains your safety and respects your privacy and therefore your details shall not be shared anywhere without your consent.

It’s a safe practice as it does not involve any medication without professional consultation or prescription and can be practiced by kids as well, to understand self-awareness. You can use art therapy in your daily life just to analyse your thoughts and channelise them as well, to be self-aware of your existence and mind.  We realize that mental health is the need of this hour and there are a very few platforms which provides you the sense of security and comfort. Art is a Preventive and Healing Process. It helps the unconscious critical thinking and challenges your deepest-rooted perception. Going forward let’s get ready with;

Your Tools of Happiness - P3 (Pen, Paper, Pencil) and some colours.

And don’t forget – ‘It is not fine art- we do not focus on the beauty of your artwork, but the process involved while creating that piece of canvas!”
